Cheekbones correction
By lipofilling, fillers or implants
Correction of cheekbones can be done through lipophilies, fillers or implants.
Most often over time, but sometimes as a congenital anomaly, the cheekbones are shed or nasolabial folds become more pronounced, and this causes discomfort. There are cases where other skin types or dimples do not fit into the aesthetics of the term “charming tart” but are rather a skin defect. Then the recommended procedure is the correction of cheekbones by lipophilizing methods, fillers or implants.
As with lipophilosis in the lips, as well as lipophilic lipodilution, liposome is extracted by liposuction. It is processed, homogenized and then by special technique the sunken areas or deep wrinkles around the mouth and nose are filled in. When correcting cheekbones by lipophilism with its own fat, the effect is prolonged.
Correction of cheekbones can be performed with hyaluronic acid-based fillers or cheek-implant implants.
When correcting cheekbones with hyaluronic acid, the effect is immediate. It has the ability to attract water and maintains its quantity in the intercellular space. Thus, the skin is hydrated, its density and volume increase. It is also involved in the transport of important nutrients in the surrounding cells.
Hyaluronic acid cheekbone correction is performed in ambulatory conditions during “lunch break”. It does not require preliminary training and has no side effects. The duration of the effect is about a year, after which the procedure can be repeated.
Correction of cheekbones with implants is a more serious plastic surgery with the longest effect, in practice – eternal. It is recommended in cases where there is a birth defect, as well as after the age of 40, in order to achieve lasting rejuvenation. Implants provide greater choice in the shape and expression of the cheekbones than the methods of filling the sunken areas.
There are implants that are placed directly on the cheekbones to achieve a more expressive effect. Another type of implants that are used to adjust the cheekbones are those that are placed under the cheekbones so that the cheeks sink slightly and the face looks weaker, longer and at the same time sensuous and sexy. There are also combined implants that combine both visual effects.
Before deciding to correct implants, it is mandatory to consult a dentist, as well as a panoramic jaw image to assess whether there is a risk of asymmetry due to the specifics of your own jaw.
Adjustment of cheekbones is done with local anesthesia. Embedding of the implants can be cut through the flap of the lower eyelid or through the incision in the mouth.
The most appropriate method for adjusting the cheekbones should be chosen after consultation with the plastic surgeon, tailored to your individual peculiarities and desires.
