Abdominoplasty

Plastic of the front abdominal wall

The dreamy flat belly is achieved surgicaly by the procedure called abdominoplasty / plastic on the anterior abdominal wall / by removing the shedding of the skin, its underlying adipose tissue and strengthening the abdominal muscles.

The alternative forms of the abdominoplasty procedure do not treat the skin and the accumulated fat tissue. Liposuction may be a surgical option if the skin is of good tone and limited accumulation of fat in normal weight people.

It should be borne in mind that abdominoplasty is not an overweight adjustment. It occurs when the patient has regained the healthy rate of growth / kilograms, but in his inheritance there are stretched skin and muscles as well as locally grown fat tissue whose removal is the only way surgical intervention.

Abdominoplasty is a surgical procedure that removes excess skin and adipose tissue from the middle and lower abdominal halves, and is combined with strengthening the abdominal wall muscles.

Permanent loosening of the abdomen is due to stretched skin as a result of pregnancy or obesity, accompanied by relaxation of the right abdominal muscles (diastasis).

The incision of abdominoplasty is made above the pubic bone and groin. All skin and subcutaneous tissue is released and correction is made to strengthen and tighten the abdominal wall. Thus the belly retracts and the waist is outlined. This is the standard abdominoplasty method.

To shape a better waist, abdominoplasty can be combined with liposuction of the pallas.

In abdominoplasty, the uterus is released and repositioned. Excess skin is cut. The position of the scar is consistent with the type of lingerie that the patient carries to be always hidden.

Thanks to the cutting and seaming techniques practiced in plastic surgery, the mark on abdominoplasty can be so finely shaped that it is virtually not noticeable.

In some cases, when abdominal pain is low in the area under the navel that is not recovered, regardless of changes in diet and body maintenance with sport and movement, mini abdominoplasty is recommended. It is also called “mini-limectomy”.

In the procedure, mini abdominoplasty is treated only the lower abdomen and is only suitable for small to moderate skin exfoliation. It is usually unnecessary to adjust the navel.

During the plastic surgeon consultation, the patient’s vision of the outcome of the abdominoplasty he wishes to achieve should be synchronized with individual anatomical features and general health.

After surgery abdominoplasty it is obligatory to wear elastic underwear for a period of 4 to 6 weeks. It is also important to follow the doctor’s recommended diet.
